The Company
ShiftIdeas, located in Hamilton, Ontario Canada, was started in 2003 by owner Liam Whittle. We specialize in website development, print design and corporate branding. Through research and strategic development, we create user focused designs for your intended audience to make your business more successful.
We're a small team of professionals who love what we do. Our size is one of our main strengths as it allows us to work closely with you on your project and not charge the high rates large firms do.
The Philosophy
We live, breathe and sleep design. Not only do we love what we do, we truly care about making your project a success. We'll take the time to ask the necessary questions and do the proper research to fully understand your needs.
Communication is crucial to the success of a project and we will not overlook it. Keeping clients well informed every step of the way during a project is very important to us.
Design should be used to serve a purpose and solve a problem. We live by the motto "function over form" as we realize that having a beautiful design is key to the success of a project but it's useless if the design serves no purpose and is not directed towards your audience. The Process
Planning The first step is to gather all the essential information in regards to your project. We'll get as much information from you about your business, your brand, your audience and even your competitors. We'll determine the goals of the project and the results you wish to accomplish through it by asking the necessary questions to fully understand it and provide a solution that exceeds your needs.
With the gathered information we'll develop a detailed proposal outlining the project's requirements, the solutions which need to be implemented to make it a success, the timeline which the project will follow and our quote to complete the job. Once we come to an agreement on all the project details, we can begin the design process.
Design
The second step is to look over the research plans and brainstorm ideas. We'll put in quality time to make sure we don't overlook anything and come up with the best solution for your project. Once this is complete we can then begin developing creative concepts and bring the project to life.
We'll keep you well informed with our ideas and concepts along the way to make sure you're happy with the direction the project is going. We won't do anything you don't approve of and will make any changes you require. We understand just how important communication is during this process and won't overlook it.
Production
Now that we have all the pieces to the puzzle it's just a matter of putting it all together to produce a final solution that exceeds the project's objectives and provides results to your company.
